Astrology for Entlebuchers!

Yes, Astrology applies to Dogs also. Why not? they are mammals too. The astrological signs are made up of four elements. They are Fire, Earth, Water and Air. I will describe the elements below and how they apply to dogs and especially the Entlebucher. Don’t laugh, just enjoy and read and see if you see similarities in yourself.

The Fire signs are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.
These are the most active of all Entlebuchers. They are on the go and have lots of energy. They can be very playful and be great athletes. They are also harder to train and need a strong and willful owner to match them. The can be the most protective. They can be very focussed at what they are doing and can become obsessed with things, like playing ball or frisbee. The fire signs needs lots of early socialization with other dogs and they need to learn how to be submissive. These signs can excel at Agility and Herding.

The Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.
These are the Achievers. They want to please their owners very much but they can be stubborn too. They can be more mellow than the Fire and Air signs and are affectionate and cuddly. They will let you know when it is time to eat as they are driven by food more than the other elements. These signs are going to love to be outside, going for hikes and walks and enjoying mother earth. Since they can be tenacious they can excel at Obedience and other regulated activities.

The Water signs are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
These are the most sensitive of the Entlebuchers. They are very affectionate and are in tune with your feelings. They are very devoted to their owners and can become attached to one person more. Their training should be firm yet gentle especially for the Cancer and Pisces. They are the most mellow of the elements. These signs will be your best friend as they understand you and you understand them. They can be very fond of children and are the most gentle.

The Air signs are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.
These are the people lovers. They are very intelligent and will communicate their needs to you. They are active and will want to use their mind and body in all that they do. These signs can be more aloof than the other elements but are devoted to their people. They might be smarter than you think so don’t underestimate them or they will get the upper hand (or paw). They can be more independent too so they need to be reminded who is boss. They are also good at Obedience and especially Conformation as they like to look good.
